Broughton Yard was founded in 2017, by Jade Broughton.
Having grown up on a farm in Leicestershire, I have spent my life surrounded by horses from a very early age.
We have three ponies who live with us on our family farm near Melton Mowbray. We also keep Dartmoor Greyface, Silvernose and Valais Blacknose Sheep, along with our two Labradors
With a passion for saddlery, I have completed my SMS Unit 402 in Flocking and Flocking Adjustment, and now registered with the Society of Master Saddlers as a Trainee Fitter.
I continue to train with a local saddler, and now able to offer all leather repair work from small or large stitching, to replacing girth straps and leather repairs.

Buy with piece of mind. Every saddle is thoroughly checked, so all stitching, straps etc will all be in safe condition. Tree sound and ready to use. Second hand saddles will all show some signs of use/wear, however minor. I try to mention anything significant, but photographs will show the exact condition it is in once prepared for sale.
