Galloping Memories: A Stunning Collection of Equestrian Photography

Saddles available for Trial

Broughton Yard is now pleased to be able to offer 5 day trials on all saddles priced over £300 (as of 2nd February 2024). This is a great way to ensure your saddle is a suitable fit by your saddle fitter.

How much does a trial cost?

There is no additional fee to trial a saddle from us. However, payment must be made in full upon collection. Payment can be made either via cash or bank transfer. Payment is then returned in full on return on the saddle.

How long do I get to try the saddle?

Your 5 day trial begins as soon as you collect your saddle, and also includes weekends and bank holidays.  Example - You collect the saddle on Friday, you must return the saddle on Tuesday if it is not suitable. You must notify us by the 4th day if you wish to return.

CAN I HAVE A SADDLE POSTED TO ME TO TRIAL

Unfortunately, trials are only available on collected saddles, not on posted saddles.

When will I receive my refund if I return the saddle?

On safe return of your saddle, please allow up to 24hrs for us to check the saddle for any defects or damage, and issue your refund.

how do I know it fits?

We highly recommend you have a saddle fitter arranged when you trial, to ensure the saddle fits both you and your horse correctly. We will not accept returns after the trial period if the saddle does not fit.

Can I trial a saddle if overseas?

Saddles can only be trialled if in Mainland UK

What happens if the saddle gets damaged whilst I have it on trial?

If any unfortunate damage occurs to the saddle, you will be liable for any repairs taken out by an independent master saddler. These repairs will be fully invoiced.
